I am a Content Strategist, Business Analyst, Technical Writer, and author with a passion for making complex information accessible and meaningful.

Over the course of my career, I have worked across content strategy, information architecture, technical documentation, and process design. My recent work has focused on structuring and optimizing content for AI-driven systems, knowledge management, and user support solutions. Through collaboration with cross-functional teams, I help organizations improve communication, streamline processes, and create scalable content experiences.

Outside of my professional work, I am a lifelong fan of science fiction, fantasy, gaming, and digital art. In 2026, I published my first mystery novel, The Lines We Keep, the first book in the Between Worlds series, and am currently working on future installments.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Disaster Recovery Documentation Recognized by Senior Leadership

Developed the SRP Disaster Recovery Plan for Enbridge’s SCADA environment. The plan successfully passed a Corporate Cybersecurity tabletop exercise without requiring revisions and earned Stellar recognition from the SCADA Technical Manager.

Enterprise Knowledge Base Development

Designed and implemented a cross-functional internal knowledge base at Auvik serving Marketing, Support, Engineering, and Sales teams. Established content governance processes, documentation standards, and integrations with the external knowledge base to improve information sharing and scalability across the organization.

Knowledge Base Transformation and User Experience Improvements

Led significant improvements to Auvik’s external knowledge base, enhancing usability while expanding coverage to support two additional product lines. Customer feedback was overwhelmingly positive, resulting in new documentation being highlighted within Product Release Notes distributed to customers.

Feasibility Study Supporting New Revenue Opportunities

Conducted a feasibility study and developed the business case for a mobile application featuring a condensed phonetic English keyboard designed to support English as a Second Language learning. The recommendation was approved and resulted in a project valued at approximately $10,000 in revenue.

Award-Winning Star Trek: Voyager Anthology Project

Led a volunteer writing initiative that extended the Star Trek: Voyager universe through 53 interconnected short stories published over two years under the pen name “MaquisKat.” Responsibilities included project leadership, editing, promotion, ghostwriting unfinished stories in established author styles, and writing original episodes. The project received the “Best of Trek” award from Section31.com.

Critical System Configuration and Infrastructure Planning

Developed the Full Production Rollout 1 System Configuration Plan for the SCADA Replacement Project at Enbridge. The documentation defined infrastructure requirements and system dependencies across multiple enterprise systems, including PI, Leak Detection, and Industrial Control System Segmentation environments.
