Solid Disaster Recovery Documentation
Received Stellar recognition from SCADA Technical Manager, Darin Parsons, for the SRP Disaster Recovery Plan – which passed the Corporate Cybersecurity tabletop exercise with no revisions.
Creation of a Complex Internal Knowledge Base
Developed an internal Knowledge Base for Auvik that is cross-functional for all departments, including Marketing, Support, Engineering and Sales, with connections to the the External Knowledge Base. This includes processes for adding the documentation as well as investigating and utilizing all the features available to Confluence.
Improved User Experience with a Revamped External Knowledge Base
Within the first year with Auvik, developed changes to improve the user experience while rapidly reinforced the existing knowledge base and also expanding it to cover two new product lines. Existing users have acknowledged and given positive feedback to the changes, which has been acknowledged by now including a section on new articles in the Product Release Notes distributed to customers.
Feasibility Study Generates 10K of Income
Conducted feasibility study and developed business case for a mobile application with a specialty keyboard for condensed phonetic English language and translation to normal English. Intended to be used as a tool for English as a second language training. Study resulted in going forward with project worth 10k of income to the company
Award Winning Star Trek: Voyager Short Story Anthology
Led a volunteer extension of the Star Trek: Voyager TV series as short stories that spanned 2 years and 53 stories as episodes under the username of ‘MaquisKat’. Received ‘Best of Trek’ from Section31.com. Over the series – promoted the project to magazines and media companies such as Sky 1, ghost written incomplete stories matching the style of the original author as well as writing several episodes completely. Developed Critical System Configuration Plan Documentation
Developed the SCADA Replacement Project – Full Production Rollout 1 System Configuration plan which includes the system infrastructure requirements known at the time for all related Enbridge Systems/Infrastructure including PI, Leak Detection, and ICS Seg.
